Use

You can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) BADI_IUID_REG_COM02 to handle customer-specific processes with the registry that are not implemented in the standard system (for example, inventory shrinkage or theft) in the communication.

In Customizing of Item Unique Identification (IUID) under Define Movement Types for Registry Communication you can assign a process to a movement type. If you use process Dummy process that has to be changed by BAdI Implementation, you have to define the handling within this Business Add-In.

The Business Add-In contains the following methods:

  • COLLECT_PROCESS_DATA
    Selects the relevant object data (for example, a goods receipt).
  • DEFINE_PROCESS
    You define a process (for example, 'Theft').
  • ADD_UPD_CUSTOMER_PROCESS
    Fills the data structure that will be send to the registry with the selected data.

Requirements

Standard settings

  • No BAdI implementation is activated in the standard system.
  • The BAdI cannot be used more than once.
  • The BAdI is not filter-dependent.
