This BAdI is used (internally) to create notifications or update existing notifications to document an equipment removal or installation. The method CREATE creates a new notification, the method MODIFY updates an existing one (notification number must exist). With FILL_CUST_DATA you can maintain any customer-specific fields etc. in the notification tables immediately before the methods CREATE/MODIFY are called.

Commit Work and Rollback are handled outside by the calling application. Errors/messages are collected in an application log (handle is change parameter). The notification type must be filled from outside, for MODIFY the notification number must also be filled (with an existing number).
