For triggering a subsequent workflow, you can determine further triggering events (for example, a particular document type) in addition to the event ASSIGNED. To do this, you need to implement a check function module.

Requirements

  • You have already created a subsequent workflow and defined the event ASSIGNED as the triggering event.
  • You have implemented the check function module.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Enter the following data:
    • Object category: BOR Object Type
    • Object type: Application object type used in the subsequent workflow
    • Event: ASSIGNED
    • Receiver type: Number of subsequent workflow
    • Receiver call: Function module
    • Receiver function module: SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT.
    • Check function module: Name of the check function module you have implemented
  2. Set the flag Linkage activated.
