In this customizing activity, you determine the possible agents for a task.
There are two levels of agent assignment in SAP Business Workflow: Determining possible agents and determining responsible agents. The work item is only actually sent to the responsible agents. Prerequisite: The responsible agents must also be possible agents.
It is recommended that you name all employees in your company as possible agents. If you classify the task as a general task, you guarantee that the responsible agents are also always possible agents. You determine the responsible agents in connection with a document type when maintaining the default settings.

Standard settings
Activities
- Choose the task type Standard task , and enter an SAP task for ArchiveLink. Only enter the task number, not the abbreviation (do not enter TS, for example).
The following tasks are supplied for ArchiveLink:
- For the scenarios Storing for subsequent entry and Store and enter: 30001128 (new) or 00007869 (old). Both tasks are identical, except that the new task can be modified and the old one cannot.
- For the scenarios Storing for subsequent assignment and Store and assign: 30001117.

- Choose the symbol Display.
You maintain agent assignment in display mode, and not in editing mode.
- In the menu bar, choose Additional Data -> Agent Assignment -> Maintain.
- Select the task and choose Properties
- Choose General Task followed by Copy.
The task is classified as a general task.
