The system uses partner information for the SPEC message in both inbound and outbound processing.
- Inbound processing
The system uses this partner information to determine the partner data from the header of the inbound SPEC message. This partner data should be imported into the control record of the SPEC2K IDoc that has to be generated.
- Outbound processing
The system uses this partner information to generate the header of the text file from the partner data in the control record of the outbound SPEC2K IDoc, and to find the file port that contains the directory to output the text file.
