Use
In this IMG activity, you define authorization groups for WCM objects. Authorization groups are used to categorize similar WCM objects for authorization purposes.
If no authorization group is entered in a WCM object, then no
authorization check is performed. In this case, the user can process the WCM object.

Create the authorization groups for your WCM object.
Example
A power plant has two units, "COAL" and "GAS", for which there are a number of WCM objects in the system. User A must only be able to process WCM objects from "COAL" and user B must only be able to process WCM objects from "GAS".
To establish this, you must define two authorization groups and assign them to the two users in the user master. You must also allocate the two authorization groups to the WCM objects.
As a result, the two users can only process WCM objects from their respective units.
