Use
In this IMG activity, you choose the model you want to use for your work clearance management. You can choose one model for each maintenance planning plant. In this way, you determine which WCM objects you want to use in work clearance management.
The architecture recognizes two basic models: the standard model and the enhanced model.
The standard model contains the following WCM objects:
- Work clearance application
- Operational WCD
The enhanced model contains the following WCM objects:
Requirements
You have maintained your maintenance planning plants in the Plant Maintenance application.
Standard settings
Activities
Perform the activities for the maintenance planning plant in which you want to use work clearance management. Perform the activities in the sequence specified.
Notes
If you do not perform this activity, you will not be able to use the components productively. The architecture of a maintenance planning plant cannot be altered once it has been set.
If you work with work permits, you must use the enhanced model.
