In this step you define the forms you want to use for your drilldown reports. You can assign one form to several reports.
A form describes the basic contents and formal structure of a list. You can consider a form as a basis for a report which is completed when you define the report.
Prerequisites
If you want to include global variants in a form, you have to first define them. More information about this is available in the IMG in the step "Maintain global variants". Several variables are already included in the standard SAP system.
You can also use local variants for a form, in other words, variants that are only valid for this form. You do not have to define these specifically.
Standard settings
The standard system includes forms which you can use as a reference for creating your own forms.
The namespace planned by SAP for the technical names of forms delivered with the system includes all names beginning with the digits (0XXXXXX,....,9XXXXXX). These names must not be used for forms you define yourself.
Activities
Define your own forms. You can copy the forms included in the standard system and use them as a reference.

You can create a transport request to transport forms you have defined to a target system. You can find more information about this in step "Transport report".
