Use

You define an attribute profile in this IMG activity. In this profile, you define which attributes can be used as well as the display and field characteristics of each individual attribute.

Requirements

Standard settings

The DEMO profiles are defined for the two standards PS_DOMEA and PS_PRO.

SAP recommends that you use the profile PS_DOMEA (for the DOMEA standard) or the profile PS_PRO (for The National Archives standard) as a copy template for your own profile for Records and Case Management.

Activities

The attributes are saved in two tables: the general and special attribute table.

The table SCMG_T_CASE_ATTR already contains a number of general attributes. The special attributes are defined in the table RMPS_T_CASE_ATTR. In this table, you can insert your own fields into the include CI_RMPS_CASE_ATTR. Note that you cannot use field names that are already used in the general table.

If documentation on the data element and search help were created for your own fields, you can find them in Records and Case Management using F1 or F4.

  1. Create an attribute profile and enter the table RMPS_T_CASE_ATTR.
  2. Create at least one attribute group.
You can group the attributes in the display by assigning the attributes to a group.
  3. Insert your own fields (if required) into include CI_RMPS_CASE_ATTR.

You can check and change contents using different BAdIs for processing attributes even using your own program. Call transaction SE18 and search using the prefix SCMG to find these BAdIs.
