Use
In this IMG activity you set up the digital signature for the application Public Sector Records Management.
The results of the signature and the signed documents in the PKCS#7 container (Public-Key Cryptography Standards) must be stored in their own element type. You create a new element type for this in the registry and make assignments to the document element types used for digital signatures. When you print digitally signed documents you can also print signatory information.
Set/Get Parameters (SPA/GPA Parameters)
Using the SPA/GPA parameter RMPS_SSF_FULLSCREEN, you can control whether the signatory data on the Sign Document screen should be displayed or hidden by default (RMPS_SSF_FULLSCREEN = 'X'). Using the SPA/GPA parameter RMPS_SSF_QUESTIONS the additional confirmation prompt required by German signature law can be turned off.
Requirements
You have made the required Basis settings of the Basis component Secure Store and Forward (SSF).
Standard settings
SAP provides the smart form RMPS_SMART_FORM_SIGNATURE_DATA as a sample form for printing signatory information. The signatory information contains the columns:
- Result of signature check
- Signatory
- Signature date
- Issuer of signature certificate
- Validity period of certificate
Set/Get parameter
In the standard system, the signatory data (SPA/GPA parameter RMPS_SSF_FULLSCREEN) is displayed on the screen Sign Document and the confirmation prompt (SPA/GPA-Parameter RMPS_SSF_QUESTIONS) is switched on.
Activities
- Choose the IMG activity Maintain Registry (Customizing mode) and create a new element type for the signature data in your document service provider.
Note:
You can use the connection parameter DOCUMENT_CLASS to control that the signed documents are stored in an archive. - To activate signature functions for the relevant document element type in the electronic desk:
Define the connection parameter RMPS_SPS_SIGNED_DOCUMENTS for all document element types to be signed using the element type created in the previous step. You do this in the IMG activity Maintain Registry (Customizing mode) too.
- Settings for Printing Signatory Information:
Choose the IMG activity Set Global Parameters. If you want to use your own form for signatory information you have to replace the form provided by SAP for the parameter PSPRTSIG "Smart Form for Printing Signature Data". If you do not want to print additional signatory information, do not make and entry for the parameter PSPRTSIG (blank value)
- Change the SPA/GPA parameter of the respective employee if necessary.
