In this process step, you can define which field status the SAP-specified fields in a document have when posting, for each document type:
- Required Entry Field
The document is not posted if the field does not contain any values.
- Optional Field
If the field is not filled, the system can determine the field value.
- Hide
It is not possible to transfer field values for these fields. If a field value is transferred for a hidden field, the document is not posted.
This field status is used for testing when posting. This ensures the availability of all data that is required when posting the document in the SAP system.
