Use
Documents are assigned to a document type in the SAP ArchiveLink. The document type defines the technical specifications of the document (for example, document category, display options). The name of the document type in the external system can be different to the name in the SAP System. To ensure the consistency of the data in the SAP System, in this activity you have to change the name of the document type in the external system to the name in the SAP System. The column Ext. Doc. Type corresponds to the name of the document type in the external system and the column SAP Doc. Type corresponds to the name in the SAP System. You can also enter an explanatory text in the column Doc. Type Name.
The table is client-specific.
Requirements
The entry in the column SAP Doc. Type links to the field AR_OBJECT in the check table TOADV. Therefore, you must also maintain the corresponding entry in table TOADV.
