In this activity you make definitions for tax calculation schedules and jurisdiction codes:
These settings are only necessary if jurisdiction codes and an external tax calculation system are used to calculate tax. This is only the case in countries in which tax rates differ from region to region, such as in the USA.

Recommendation
If the jurisdiction code is not sufficient to make unique identification of all levels of tax calculation (state, county and town, for example) then the transaction key from tax calculation can also be maintained.
You do not have to use this transaction key but if you do use it, you cannot make any entry with the transaction key.
The transaction key is either always filled or always blank.
Activities
Make the following specifications for each entry:
- Cap amount in the appropriate currency
- Invoicing period that is valid for this amount (in days)
- Indicator to show whether the same amount should be levied for each invoice, regardless of the invoicing period.
