In this section you can define your own correspondence types.
Own correspondence types should be defined by developers with ABAP experience. The following events must also be implemented:
- Creation of correspondence
An example is the creation of test correspondence with BTE.
- Printing of correspondence
An example is the printing of test correspondence with BTE.
Own correspondence types must be developed in the customer name range otherwise they are modifications.
Example
The following correspondence types are an example implementation. Note that the availability of correspondence types is dependent on the components you use.
- Correspondence type 9991 (test correspondence with BTE/correspondence tool)
This has the above-mentioned events Test correspondence creation and Test correspondence printing that are implemented as Business Transaction Events (BTE).
- Correspondence type 9992 (test correspondence with BAdI/correspondence tool)
This has the above-mentioned events Test correspondence creation and Test correspondence printing that are implemented as Business Add-Ins (BAdI).
- Correspondence type 0002 (balanced account statement/FI-CA)
This has the above-mentioned events Account statement creation and Account statement printing that are implemented as events of Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable.
Note that the mass creation of account statements was implemented via mass activities. An interval module was implemented for event 1700 and an additional parameter module for event 1701.
- Correspondence type BA01 (account statement/FS-AM)
This has the above-mentioned events Account statement creation and Account statement printing that are implemented as Business Transaction Events (BTE).
- Correspondence type BL00 (general letter/FS-CML)
- This has the above-mentioned events Creation of general letter and Printing of general letter that are implemented as Business Transaction Events (BTE).
