You define the structure for external data.

You also create an assignment between the structure of external data and the transfer program. It is important to assign a transfer category.

Example

Requirements

It is recommended that you keep the sender structure as similar as possible to the receiver structure and ensure you have the corresponding format in the data selection programs.

Standard settings

  1. Select Processing -> New entries.
  2. In the field Sender structure, enter the name of your program, e.g. DI_KONTO,
    1. The field behind Sender structure is for free text about the program.
    2. From field Transfer type select 73.
  3. Enter:
    • 1 in the table column Position.
    • and in DDIC structure a name in the form RKCTxxx, e.g. RKCTC01
  4. Select this line by double-clicking.
  5. A new screen will appear with an empty list.
    1. Enter a freely definable name in the field next to the structure RKCTxxx (e.g. RKCTC01).
    2. Select Sender structure -> Include template. This will include a predefined transfer structure (73).
  6. Select Save. This will activate the sender structure in DDIC.
  7. Exit the screen by selecting Back.
  8. Exit the next screen by selecting Back also.

Recommendation

If your pre-system cannot deliver the data in the proposed structure, you may change it by deleting lines in the list in point 5b, to adapt it to your requirements.

However, we would recommend leaving it unchanged.
