Use

In this activity you create the number ranges for requests. For each number range, specify the following:

  • Number range key

    In the activities, Assign Number Ranges to Request Categories and Assign Number Ranges to Request Templates, assign the number range key to the request category and request class for which it is to be valid.

  • Number interval from which the document numbers are to be taken
  • Type of number assignment (internal or external)

You can define any number of intervals, but you should create a separate number range interval for each combination of request category and request class. Make sure that the number intervals do not overlap.

Activities

  1. Choose Interval -> Change.
  2. Choose Edit -> Insert Interval.
  3. In the dialog box, define all information required for the number range.
  4. Save your entries.
