Use

In this activity, you configure the transfer of data from an interactive form to the SAP system.

Requirements

  • You have created an interactive PDF-based print form. In the ABAP-Dictionary-based interface of the print form, you specified in which parameters of this interface you expect the data entered in the form.
  • The interactive PDF-based print form and its interface are actively available in the receiving system.
  • You have implemented a method, in which you process the data extracted from the form.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries and then choose the interactive PDF-based print form you want using the input help.
  2. Confirm your entry.
  3. Click on the Parameters and transfer the import parameters of the form interface, in which you expect the data extracted from the form.
    When you are creating the interface, split the data that is for display only from the data to be maintained, and assign these two types of data to different parameters of the interface. This enables you to reduce the volume of data to be extracted. The system analyzes the parameters entered here and accepts the data from the form.
    If you do not make any entries here, then all parameters are considered.
  4. Under Data Transfer, specify which program is to process the data. Enter the following:
    • The name of the method, in which the data is processed
    • The name of the class, in which the method is implemented
    • The name of the program, if the class is defined locally in a program
    • The indicator, that the inbound document (PDF or XML data) should be provisioned
