Use
A lease contract item contains the customer number of the contract partner. The contract partner is described in more detail by a large number of characteristics in the customer master record. These characteristics from the customer master record can also be used for controlling further processing steps in Lease Accounting.
In this IMG activity, you assign relevant data from the customer master record to value IDs. When the lease is executed in Lease Accounting, the system then reads the current customer master record. Based on the assignments to value IDs, selected data from the customer master record is stored in value IDs and made available for later processing.
As a result, you can use different accounts for accrued revenue depending on the customer group in the customer master record, for example.
