Use
In this IMG activity, you specify whether a date should be calculated from another date.
Normally you transfer certain date entries from the contract item directly to the value ID. However, it is sometimes necessary, for example, that a posting in Lease Accounting not be performed by the system until the following day. In this IMG activity, you can define new value IDs that obtain their values by addition or subtraction of the values of another value ID.

Remember that the value ID used as a reference also contains a date. If you use date types that are incompatible, this can result in a runtime error (termination) during the processing of the lease.
