Use
In this Customizing activity, you can define the settings for campaign management, specifically e-mail texts, e-mail groups, campaign types, and e-mail communication.
You can use e-mails, for example, in campaigns to collect uses from EU and non-EU suppliers as well as customers. During a background process, the system sends the specified default e-mail (according to the e-mail group) with the defined phrases for your use collection campaign.
Prerequisites
Standard settings
The standard system is delivered with examples.
The following e-mails are default settings for campaigns or e-mail configurations:
E-mail No. Description
I01 Send information about REACH uses to customers
R02 Request product compliance data from suppliers
R03 Request use registration status from suppliers
R04 Request uses for products from customers
R05 Request an only representative or substances to be registered from suppliers
The following e-mails are required and permanently defined. They are used in specific functional parts and must be defined:
E-Mail No. Description
M01 Send reminder for tasks to processor
I02 Send product reports from export to customers
N01 Send notification; confirmation of use registration to REACH customers
N02 Send notification - Rejection of use registration to REACH customers
P01 Send protocol of worklist management processing to processor
P02 Send spreadsheet report generated in background to processor (successful)
P03 Send spreadsheet report generated in background to processor (errors occurred)
Activities
Check the standard settings. Adaption of the standard settings is usually not necessary.
If you want to make new entries, do the following:
- Assign phrase codes from the phrase catalog to the e-mail number.
- Define one or more e-mails for e-mail groups.
Specify only one e-mail as the default e-mail for each group. The default e-mail is used when e-mails are sent by a background process. - Define campaign types.
Assign each type to a specific message class and message number to connect the campaign type to the e-mail, template, and partner role.
Assign a worklist to a campaign type. The system creates a worklist entry for this campaign type after the campaign has run. - To specify e-mail communication, assign a template group, an e-mail group, and a partner role.
