Use
In this Customizing activity, you can activate or deactivate the Product and REACH Compliance exits within report management for Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S). SAP Product and REACH Compliance uses the EH&S report management system as reporting tool. Report templates are normally created using Windows Wordprocessor Integrator (WWI), and the templates are Microsoft Word documents with parameter symbols. The symbols are replaced at runtime with real data from the database. However, for some types of report (for example, XML files) it is easier to generate the file without WWI.
Requirements
You must apply SAP Note 968429 before you activate the exits.
Standard settings
The standard system is delivered with the following standard exit function modules.
Exit Called Exit Function Module
Point of time 1 When report generation variant is checked /TDAG/CP_UE01_CHECK_LDEPID
Point of time 2 When report from template is executed /TDAG/CP_UE01_ADHOC_REP_EXT
Point of time 3 When a raw report is created /TDAG/CP_UE01_RAW_REP_EXIT
Point of time 4 When a report is displayed within the EH&S report management system /TDAG/CP_UE01_SHOW_REP_EXIT
By default, these function modules are not active. Each of the exit function modules is called at certain point of time within EH&S report management.
Recommendation
Activities
- To activate the Product and REACH Compliance exits for EH&S report management, activate all exits and execute the activity.
- To deactivate the Product and REACH Compliance exits for EH&S report management, deactivate all exits and execute the activity.
Note:
The exits must be activated to support XML and IPC reporting. If you do not activate the exits, you cannot generate an XML file.
Activating the Product and REACH Compliance exits for the EH&S report management system does not interfere with the standard reporting functions.
Example
The Product and REACH Compliance exits enable the system to generate and handle Product and REACH Compliance XML data files. You can specify the format for the XML file in theSpecify XML Format Customizing activity.
