Use

In this Customizing activity, you specify the settings for the International Material Data System (IMDS).

You can configure more than one IMDS system but you can activate only one configuration. This allows you, for example, to prepare an IMDS system configuration that can be used in a consolidation system or a productive system. If you transport the configuration to the required system, you must activate the configuration in the target system.

Enter the required configuration settings.

Note:

  • You can activate only one configuration in each system. Activate either a test system such as IMDS model office or your productive IMDS system. You can use report /TDAG/CPR_WWI_IMDS_CUST_SET to change the IMDS productive system and the RFC destination of the IMDS batch client. For more information, see SAP Note 1590836.
  • The Proxy User and Proxy Password fields are optional.
  • If you do not want to use the security variant described in SAP Note 1497003, maintain the following fields:
  • If you want to activate the security variant described in SAP Note 1497003, you must maintain the following logical file name definitions under FILE:
    • SPRC_ARCHIVE_DIR    Product and REACH Compliance Archive Directory
    • SPRC_ERROR_DIR    Product and REACH Compliance Error Directory
    • SPRC_IMPORT_DIR    Product and REACH Compliance Import Directory

      To activate this security variant, you must assign the physical file to the logical file.
