Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the SAP Product and REACH Compliance component. This BAdI enables you to integrate the basic material view into the material master.
Prerequisites
In the Customizing activity Specify Screen Sequence for Basic Material View, you have adjusted the sequences of the material master screen.
Standard settings
In the standard system, the BAdI is delivered with the implementation class /TDAG/CL_IM_CP_MAT_SPEC. This class acts as a reference for a customer-specific implementation.
Depending on your release, you must implement this BAdI manually. For more information, see Activities.
Activities
Implement the BAdI manually according to your release as described below:
BAdI implementation for releases 4.7 through ERP2004
These releases use a classic BAdI implementation for this BAdI. Do the following for a customer-specific implementation:
- Use either this BAdI activity or transaction SE19 to create your own implementation of this BAdI (BADI_MATERIAL_OD).
- Assign the default implementation class (/TDAG/CL_IM_CP_MAT_SPEC).
- Activate your implementation.
BAdI implementation for releases starting with ERP2005
Beginning with ERP2005, an enhancement spot is used for this BAdI.
- Use either this BAdI activity or transaction SE19 to create your own implementation of the enhancement spot (BADI_MATERIAL_OD).
- Assign the default implementation class (/TDAG/CL_IM_CP_MAT_SPEC).
- Activate your implementation.
