Use
This Customizing activity enables you to customize the Business Process Workflow for the Shopping Cart object.
To complete this Customizing activity, follow the steps below:
1. Define Rulesets for Document Subset Determination
2. Define Rulesets for Process Schema Determination
3. Define Rulesets for Process Level Determination
4. Define Rulesets for Decision Set Determination
5. Define Rulesets for Approver Determination
Activities
1. Define Rulesets for Document Subset Determination
This Customizing activity groups items of a purchasing document into document subsets. All items in a document subset enter the same approval process.
The approval processes of different document subsets run independently of each other. For example, a shopping cart can provide one document subset of items that require an approval by one or more managers, and another document subset of items that are approved automatically.
2. Define Rulesets for Process Schema Determination
This Customizing activity defines process schemas for your shopping cart approval processes. You define process schemas using rulesets. The process schema is simply a name for your document subset.
3. Define Rulesets for Process Level Determination
This Customizing activity defines the process level for a process schema. This activity generates a decision table that comprises of the following:
o Level Number (1, 2, 3, and so on)
o Level Type ( Automatic, 1st Level, 2nd Level, and so on)
o Evaluation Type
o Evaluation Function
o Resolver Function
o Decision Type (Header, Item, Partial Header, Partial Item)
o Task ID
The decision table is a process level.
4. Define Rulesets for Decision Set Determination
This Customizing activity defines the decision set for a process level. For each decision set, one workflow work item is created.
5. Define Rulesets for Approver Determination
This Customizing activity assigns a decision set to the responsible agents. To ensure that an approver is determined, you should assign your own ruleset. This ruleset should then check the decision set name and return the corresponding responsible agents.
