Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Self-Service Procurement (MM-PUR-SSP) component.
You can use this BAdI to change details of catalog items when they are transferred to the shopping cart from external catalogs that are connected using OCI. For example, you can define that all items from a specific catalog are assigned a certain material group.
The BAdI is called when the user takes over a catalog item from an external catalog to the shopping cart. It supplies the method VALIDATE_ITEM.
