Use
In this IMG activity, you can set the queue type for the specified target system. You can also define the aggregation and parallelization for the single queues.
The activity is valid if the data transfer to the Extended Warehouse Management system is made with a queued remote function call (qRFC). In a qRFC, the data is stored temporarily in queues. The queue type (inbound or outbound) determines whether queue processing is controlled by the sending or receiving system.
Requirements
Your have defined your own system and the target system under Receiver.
You have defined the RFC destination.
You have defined the transfer to the Extended Warehouse Management system as a qRFC in the IMG activity Maintain Extended WM-Specific Parameters.
Standard settings
In the standard system, the queue type is defined as Inbound Queue.
In the standard system, the mass queues are disabled.
Activities
1. Under Receiver, enter the target system for the transfer. Use the same target system that you entered previously as the RFC destination.
2. Define a queue type.
3. If you have too many parallel queues, you can change the aggregation level for the system communication of single queues.
4. Defines the configuration of the mass queue.
5. Define the number of parallel mass queues (between 1 and 999). The optimal number depends on the resources of the target system.
Further notes
The settings that you make in this IMG activity depend on the particular target system and, as a result, there is no transport to the production system. You must therefore make the settings for the relevant target system in the production system.
