Use
In this IMG activity you can define default shipping points and plants to be used in returns scenarios where the ship-to location is not a Service Parts Management (SPM)-managed location. This applies to, for example, a third-party return between the dealer and the original supplier.
The default shipping point is needed to create returns deliveries.
Requirements
Ensure that the shipping point and plant you want to use for each default is defined in the enterprise structure section of Customizing and that it is correctly assigned to the chosen plant.
Standard settings
If you are using third-party returns scenarios, maintain at least one default shipping point and plant.
Activities
You can maintain the used default shipping points and plants based on the delivery type. Generic entries for the delivery type are also allowed. To use a generic type, leave the delivery type field blank. The system first looks for a delivery type-specific entry before accessing the generic entry.
