Use
In this IMG activity, you define the settings in SPM for logging messages that are either sent to (or received from) other SAP systems. You can log received messages from EWM and CRM using a qRFC. You can log sent messages to EWM using a qRFC, or to ICH using an IDOC.
Requirements
You have set up a connection to other SAP systems.
Standard settings
In the standard system, only error messages are logged.
Due to the high volume of messages, we recommend that you only log error messages in a productive environment.
Activities
- Configure the kind of messages you want to log.
- For inbound messages, you can register automatic navigation from the blocked queue to the error log in the IMG activity Register Navigation from Queue
- Review the message log daily in the transaction Application Log: Display Logs
- Outbound messages are logged with the object /SPE/QUEUE
- Inbound messages are logged with the object /SPE/MSG_OUT
- You can delete the logs in the transaction Application Log: Delete logs
