Use
In the ERP system, you can use the /SPE/BADI_CP_STLOC_CHECK Business Add-In (BAdI) to check whether the new storage location in a Contract Packager (CP) inbound redirect scenario is valid.
This BAdI is called after the standard checks have been passed. Method CHECK_STLOC is called for a more restricted check of the new storage location. This method can reject the storage location, but cannot change it to another storage location.
Requirements
You can use this BAdI only if you have activated Service Parts Management (SPM).
Standard settings
This BAdI is not active in the ERP system.
Activities
To activate this BAdI, you must create an active implementation.
Example
You have three CP storage locations for your plant: 0001, 0002 and 0003. Now incoming goods should be redirected from the planned location 0001 to a different one. Value 0002 has been entered in dialog as new storage location. The standard checks verify whether the new storage location is valid for a CP Inbound scenario.
You can implement logic in the BAdI that specifies goods in storage location 0001 can only be redirected to storage location 0003, not storage location 0002. Storage location 0002 will be rejected.
