Use
In this IMG activity you can define that for certain object types of a (target) software component in the Postprocessing Office (CA-GTF-TS-PPO), the system only displays the implementations of corresponding object types of other (source) software components.
You only need to carry out this IMG activity if you have connected the Postprocessing Office to multiple software components within a system and wish to work on a cross-software component basis.
Requirements
In the Customizing for the Postprocessing Office you have chosen Object Types -> Define Object Types and defined corresponding object types, both for the target and the source software component.
Standard settings
Activities
Choose the object type for the target software component.
Assign the source software component and the corresponding object type.
Example
Your target software component comprises the business object category Business Partner Financial Services (BUSISB990). However, when processing postprocessing orders in the Postprocessing Desktop, you wish wish to display the implementation of business object category Business Partner (BUS1006) instead of the data of this object type.
