Use
In this Customizing activity, you can define PPO Hints for specific components or combinations of business processes.
PPO Hints are assigned to error messages and business processes. Furthermore, the following key fields are available for the definition of a PPO Hint.
- Component
- Business Process
- Message Class
- Message Number
The key fields specify how you take a PPO Hint into account. It is possible to leave individual key fields blank so that you can define generic PPO Hints for a wider context.
The table below contains the valid combinations of blank key fields and what these mean: The priority corresponds to the sequence in which they are displayed in Postprocessing Desktop.
Component Business Process Message Class Message Number Priority Meaning
CMP PROC MSGID MSGNO 1 Fully-specified PPO Hint that is assigned to a special message in a specified business process within a specific component.
CMP <blank> MSGID MSGNO 2 PPO Hint that is assigned to a specific message in every business process within a specific component.
<blank> <blank> MSGID MSGNO 3 PPO Hint that is assigned to a specific message in every business process in every component.
CMP PROC <blank> <blank> 4 Process-specific PPO Hint
