In this Customizing activity, you define the time period after which a postprocessing order can be archived. This time period must be at least one day.
Requirements
You have already performed the following Customizing activities:
- Customizing Across Archiving Objects
- Create Logical File Path
- Archiving Object-Specific Customizing
- Maintain Global Archiving Control
Comments
The residence time refers to calendar days. The information is converted internally into days:
- Year -> 365 days
- Month -> 30 days
- Week -> 7 days
Note that the residence time you enter must fulfill the following prerequisites:
It must be longer than or the same as the minimum residence time that you set in the Customizing Activity Maintain Global Control for Archiving.
