In this IMG activity you define grouping characteristics. You carry out the assignment of grouping characteristics for a cost element using IMG activity Assign Cost Elements for Construction Progress Report and Remaining Plan.

You can use grouping characteristics to structure input and output templates for the construction progress report and remaining plan.

Example

You define the following grouping characteristics:

1     Main contract

2     Hourly wage

3     Approved supplement

4     Remaining plan costs

Requirements

The short texts are language dependent. If you want to define short texts in different languages, select the entry and choose Goto -> Translation.

To create a grouping characteristic:

  1. Select New Entries, to go to input mode
  2. Enter the grouping characteristic and short text
  3. Save your input

If you want to change the short text for a grouping characteristic, carry out the following:

  1. Select @3I@ with quick info Change -> Display CTRL+F4) to go to change mode
  2. Change the relevant short text
  3. Save your input
