Use
If you want to enter the value of the work completed cumulatively, you activate Consolidation using this IMG activity.
Note that this setting may not be reset in a production system. This leads to data inconsistencies.
Requirements
In Customizing for Construction Progress Report and Valuation under Change Message Control you determine whether the system displays system message /SAPPCE/PNV031 as an error or warning message.
This system message relates to consolidation activation if construction progress reports already exist.
- If you define this system message as an error warning, it is not possible to change the activation indicator for consolidation.
- If you define this system message as a warning, you can change the activation indicator for the consolidation.
Standard settings
Consolidation is not activated.
Normally only values for work actually completed are entered for a WBS element. With the cumulative view in the information system for Project System, you have a complete view. Therefore it is not necessary to enter cumulative values or consolidate them for the higher-level WBS element.
