In this IMG activity you determine which WBS element field to use as a validity indicator for construction progress reports.

You can choose from the following WBS element fields (table PRPS) :

  • User field USR10 (checkbox)
  • User field USR11 (checkbox)
  • Customer-specific field

The validity indicator for a construction progress report has the following function: When the user creates a construction progress report or a remaining plan, the system checks the value of the field defined in this IMG activity for the WBS element to be posted.

Example

Requirements

  • If you want to use a customer-specific field as validity indicator for a construction progress report, you must firstly implement this field. Use SAP Enhancement Create Customer-Specific Fields in WBS. With this enhancement, you can include customer-specific fields in table PRPS.
  • If you use a checkbox (USR10 or USR11) no other prerequisites are required.
