Use

This IMG activity allows you to define cross-user default values for the Delivery-Related Trading Unit Change (DTUC).

Note
You can define user-specific default values in Settings -> Default Values. These are prioritized by the system.

You can enter default values for the following data:

  • Movement types for the stock transfer
  • Movement types for the remaining quantity
  • Type of posting for remaining quantities
  • Cost center for scrap

In addition, in the field Scrap Limit in % you can define the maximum quantity of a material that may be posted in a cutting operation.

Note
The value that you enter here also defines the maximum percentage scrap limit value in the user-specific default values. This means that when you wish to specify a user-specific value for the percentage scrap limit, the value may not be greater than the value defined here.

If you do not define cross-user or user-specific default values, the system uses the following values as default values:

  • Your last entries
    If you have already used the function, the system uses the entries from your last session as default values.
  • Default values
    If you have not yet used the function, the system proposes its own default values; for example, the setting Remainder is Scrap for the Restverbuchung or the following movement types:
    • 309 for transfer postings without a special stock indicator (own to own)
    • 413 for transfer postings from the warehouse to special stock and for sales order stock
    • 411 for sales order stock to the warehouse
    • 551 for scrapping
    • 701 for positive inventory adjustment postings
    • 702 for negative inventory adjustment postings

If you wish to create your own movement types, you can also use the above movement types as reference movement types.

Requirements

The transaction Cutting Stock Transfer and Confirmation (MILL_CUT) must be permitted for the relevant movement types. For this to be the case, you have to enter this transaction in the Permitted Transactions view in Customizing of Inventory Management and Physical Inventory for the movement type under Movement Types -> Copy, Change Movement Types.
