Use this transaction to enter Software Maintenance Process rejection codes for notification orders. The SMP creates notifications for all pull orders with a rejection code. You must define a rejection code for each sales document type used during the SMP. If you wish, you can change the rejection code to suspend or decline, or remove the code to to release the order. You must enter one of the codes below for each sales document type:

Code Description

Notify Enter "notify" to flag the order for notification.

IS-Software places the notify code in the rejection

code field of each active notification line. The

notify rejection code can subsequently be changed

to suspend or decline, or removed to release the

notification order.

Suspend Enter "suspend" to defer the decision on the

notification to a later time and reset the rejection

code. A suspended notification order can be declined

or released at a later time.

Decline Enter "decline" to indicate that the notification

order should not be released. IS-Software places it

in the rejection code field. This resets the status

of each line and prevents any further processing of

the notification.

If you want to process the decline further, you can

set the status to "suspend," and with this status

you can release the notification.

Delete Enter "delete" to close the obsolete line items you

generate whenever you modify a pull notification

order.

During the release process of a notification order,

IS-Software checks if the partner or the configur-

ation data has changed since the notification order

was created. If there is a change, a new line is

created. The original line item then is flagged with

a status code of "delete." This resets the status of

the obsolete line and prevents it from being used in

any additional processing.
