In this menu option, you specify contract document type availability periods for sales area groups. The availability period consists of two fields:
- Availability period 'from' date. If you maintain this field, the contract must start after this date. Otherwise, the system issues an error message.
- Availability period 'to' date. If you maintain this field, the contract must start before this date. Otherwise, the system issues an error message.
Requirements
A contract document type must have been allocated to a sales area group (including all sales areas, if the sales area fields are empty). You must do this if you want to maintain an availability period for the type.
Actions
Decide if you want to maintain contract document type availability periods for each sales area. If not, you can leave the availability period 'from' and 'to' dates empty.
If you decide to a maintain availability periods, check if the contract document type is allocated to each area. If not, perform the allocation using the customizing transaction Assign sales area and document types.
If you decide to maintain availability periods, and contract document types have been allocated to the areas, enter the availability period 'from' and 'to' dates.
