In this IMG activity, you define the text ids which can be used in inbound claim IDoc processing. After processing the inbound claim, the text is passed to the ship and debit credit memo and the text ids used are passed to the credit memo without any conversion.
Example
If E1EDKT1 contains an ID Z001 for additional reference for distributor, then here you should create an entry for Z001 with text additional reference for distributor. Also text id Z001 should be created in order header.
Requirements
The text id should be present in sales order header or sales order item depending on the segment where the text is coming. (For header, segment pair is E1EDKT1/E1EDKT2 and for item, the pair is E1EDPT1/E1EDPT2). Only then the incoming text will be stored in the order header/ item.
Use transaction VOTX to maintain the sales order/ credit memo text ids.

Recommendation
It is recommended that your text id starts with Y or Z. SAP keeps these ranges free in the standard system and protects them from being overwritten during release upgrades.
