If you are using a R/3 40B system as your DRM OLTP system and you require the agreement negotiation process to take place on this system, then you need to perform this activity. This is because of the limitation of Internet platform technology (which is being used for the DRM web front end).

The internet platform can not directly connect to a 40B system. In order to overcome this, you need to ensure that your service file, for agreement negotiation, contains information to log onto the DRM Execution system. You need to specify the Logical System name for the DRM OLTP system. Specification of the Logical System name of the DRM OLTP system is done in this activity.
