In this IMG activity you set the default document type that the system uses to calculate the new price-protectable price of a DRM lot that does not have any reference to a sell-in invoice (that is, a sell -in invoice never updated this lot).

Users can over-write the billing type while creating the price-protection due list, using Default Data.
For calculating the new price-protectable price of DRM lots that are created/ updated from asell in invoice, the document type of the last invoice that updated the lot is used. The upstream sales order for the invoce is also read and the copy control set up between the invoce document type and the sales document type used while calculating the new price.
In case of lots that have not been updated by a sell in invoice, the system will use the copy control between the default sales document type (refer to Maintain settings for Sales Document) and the invoice document type while calculating the new price-protectable price for the lot.
