In this IMG activiy you define the simple rules for the Duplicate Check.
Simple Rules are based upon a communication structure and the checks could be configured to be based on the values in this communication structure. In addition, you can also select records from a Database table and base the simple rule definition on these Records.
Calculation types supported for simple rules are: SELECT, PERCENTAGE and Blank.
SELECT: Indicates a data retrieval from a Database table. You specify the name of the table in the Complex Rule definition. You may do the rules checking based upon the Data retrived from the Database.
PERCENTAGE : A mathematical percentage calculation exist between two fields of the communication structure, and the out put of the Rule is TRUE or FALSE.
BLANK : There is a condition check in the communication structure, and the output is TRUE or FALSE.
Example
You define a Rule according to which Duplicate Check should done based on EndCustomer Invoice No from Staging Table.
You may define the Simple Rule as follows:
Primary Field Name : EC_INV_NO (Field name from DbTable)
Calculation Type : SELECT.
Logical Operator : Equal To
Logical Operation data With Structure Field: EC_INV_NO (Field Name from the Communication Structure)
Note: In the Complex Rule definition you have to specify the Dbtable as /SAPHT/DRMSTAG.

DCSR02 Duplicate Claim Check with EndCustomer Invoice Item Number
DCSR03 Duplicate Claim Check with Transaction Code
DCSR04 Duplicate Claim Check with Tracking Partner
DRSR01 Duplicate Resale Check with EndCustomer Invoice Number
DRSR02 Duplicate Resale Check with EndCustomer Invoice Item Number
DRSR03 Duplicate Resale Check with Transaction Code
DRSR04 Duplicate Resale Check with Tracking partner
Recommendation
Do not modify the standard simples rules. Define your own rules if you need additional rules.
