In this IMG activiy you define Simple Rules for Resale Matching for ship-and-debit claims.
Simple Rules are based upon a communication structure and the checks could be configured based on the values in this communication structure. In addition, you can also select records from Database table and base the simple rules definition on these records.
Calculation types supported for Simple Rules are: SELECT, PERCENTAGE and Blank.
SELECT: Indicates a data retrival from a database table and you have to specify the name of the table in the Complex Rule definition. You may do the rules checking based upon the data retrived from the Database table.
PERCENTAGE : A mathematical percentage calculation exist between two fields of the communication structure, and the output of the rule will be TRUE or FALSE.
BLANK : There is a condition check for value in the communication structure, and the output will be a TRUE or FALSE.
Example
You can define a simple rule according to which a ship-and-debit claim record in the ship-and-debit due list will be valid only if there is a matching record in staging table, or audit trail as specified by you, with Transaction Code 'MSST'.
You may define the Simple Rule as follows:
Primary Field Name : XN_CODE
Calculation Type : SELECT
Logical Operator : Equal To
String Result : MSST
Note : In the Complex Rule definition you have to specify the Dbtable as /sapht/drmstag.

In the Standard Setup following Simple Rules are defined:
RMSR02 Resale Matching with End Customer Invoice Number
RMSR03 Resale Matching with End Customer Invoice Item
RMSR04 Resale Matching with Transaction Code
RMSR05 Resale Matching with Tracking Partner
Recommendation
Do not modify the standard Simples Rules. Define your own Rules if you need more of these.
