In order to specify which user can act on the contract when the contract is in a particular status, it is necessary to indicate against each status of the status profile whether the Manufacturer or Distributor can act on it.This is done via this activity.

Example

Suppose the status profile has the following statuses and they have been assigned as below:

    Status A        Manufacturer

    Status B        Distributor

    Status C        Manufacturer

This means is that if the contract is currently in Status A then only Manufacturer can edit the contract. When in Status B the Distributor can edit the contract, and so on.

Requirements

Distributor/ Reseller is maintained as WEB-User and marked as a Distributor in the DRM-Master Data

The Status-Profile is assigned to the Document type maintained for agreement negotiation.
