In this IMG activity, you defined assign DRM relevant transaction code to movement type. The mapping is used by the system to:
1. Identify the material documents which are relevant for DRM processing.
2. Identify the DRM process that should be triggered for such a material document type.
However, the system will use this information only if the output type for the material document is configured to trigger DRM processing.
The following DRM processes require this mapping:
Goods issue against a production order.
Goods receipt against a production order.
Example
In the standard system, movement type 261 is mapped to the processing code A1. When the material document for movement type 261 is saved, DRM processing is triggered via output for the material document. It then looks for the transaction code and processing code for this movement type in the customizing table.
Requirements
DRM transaction codes to which the movement types are being mapped must have already been defined in Customizing.
