In this IMG activity you assign actions of the VMS Web application to VMS actions in the DI system. In the Web application, dealers cannot use all of the actions that are available in the DI system.
The description of actions in the Web can be different from their description in the DI system. Therefore, you have to assign Web actions to actions in the DI sytem in order to be able to process them further.
Use
Enter an action which you want to assign to your dealer in the first column. Then assign the corresponding action in the DI system to this Web action. For this purpose, refer to Customizing in the DI system (Logistics Execution -> Vehicle Management System (VMS) -> Control Data -> Define Actions).
In the third column you can define the Vehicle Usage Type. You also define an action type, which specifies whether the action is generic and simply changes the vehicle status or whether the action is relevant for the showroom/end customer.
Finally, you specify whether it is possible to configure the vehicle in the action.
