Use

In this Customizing activity, you can assign navigation targets in combination with object types to identify a LaunchPad item.

This database table will always be considered if a navigation is triggered using the PROCESS_NAVIGATION( ) method of ABAP OO interface /PLMU/IF_FRW_ACTION_UTIL.

There are two different types of entries possible:

  • Navigation target with an object type
  • Navigation target without an object type

Both of these entry types can be maintained with or without an application building block ID (ABB ID).

If no ABB ID was maintained, the corresponding entry is valid for all application building blocks. However, if an ABB ID is maintained, the application building block-specific entry overrides an ABB-independent entry.

Requirements

The LaunchPad should have been maintained in transaction LPD_CUST.

Each LaunchPad item represents a particular navigation target, such as a URL, a Web Dynpro application, or an ERP transaction.
