Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the application component for the service provider interface (CA-EPT-SPI).
You can use this BAdI to change the node definition.
This BAdI is called when the metadata is retrieved from the back end system.
This BAdI ensures that the changed metadata for the application building block will be used in the running application.
Caution
If you create additional nodes or enhance a standard node with own actions or queries, use the prefix Y or Z for the technical name.
Otherwise an enhancement of the metadata model delivered by SAP at a later point in time can lead to inconsistencies that may cause dumps.
Requirements
Standard settings
There is no activated BAdI implementation in the standard system.
The default code will be executed when there is no active customer implementation.
This BAdI definition is filter-dependent. The filter is APPLICATION_BUILDING_BLOCK. The filter-independent implementations will also be called in the running application.
This BAdI is designed for multiple use.
