For a report catalog, you can manage timepoints and data change events for the SAP system and Information Worker. Timepoint is the frequency of time that is defined by administrator for reports to run.

This is an optional configuration. Perform this task to use timepoints in a report catalog.

You have created and defined an Information Worker logical RFC destination.

Activities

To define timepoints:

  1. Click the activity and select the Information Worker Logical RFC destination (for example, Connect Report Admin).
  2. Under Dialog Structure, double-click System TimePoints. A list of all the system timepoints is displayed.
  3. Under Active, select which timepoints to allow or disallow for Information Worker and give the description for each timepoint.
  4. Save the changes.
  5. Under Dialog Structure, double-click Custom TimePoints.
  6. Create scheduling options to be used in report catalog later.
  7. Enter the Information Worker description and check the Active checkbox.
  8. Save the custom timepoints created.
