The activation indicator must be set in order to use NF metal processing. Only then is the NF metal functionality available in, for example, purchasing and sales documents.
The quoted prices of the NF metals are stored in the Treasury tables for commodities. In order to copy the data automatically from an external source, all rates (prices) must be assigned to a source in Treasury customizing at Treasury -> Market Data -> Master Data -> Commodities under Define Quotation Data. In turn, this origin is assigned to a datafeed at Market Data -> Datafeed -> Technical Settings -> Define Datafeed Name.

If no source is maintained, the source 'NF' is used for quoted metal prices.
